TRUNK LID LATCH AND RELEASE ACTUATOR INSPECTION

  • The following actuator and switch are integrated with the trunk lid latch and release actuator.

  • From the actuator/switch name and operation in the following table, select the actuator or switch to be inspected, and perform the inspection following the inspection procedure described in the reference.

Electrically unlatches the trunk lid based on the signal from the electrical supply unit (ESU).

Trunk lid latch switch

Turns on/off in conjunction with the latch lever rotation so that the trunk lid open/closed condition is detected.
