HORN INSPECTION

Horn LO

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Front under cover (See FRONT UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
b. Seal plate (RH) (See SEAL PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
c. Horn LO (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Connect the battery voltage to horn LO terminal A, and connect the ground to the horn LO retaining bolt.

4. Verify that the horn LO sounds.

Horn HI

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Partially peel back the front mudguard No.1 (RH). (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the horn HI. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Connect the battery voltage to horn HI terminal A, and connect the ground to the horn HI retaining bolt.

5. Verify that the horn HI sounds.
