FUEL-FILLER LID ADJUSTMENT

1. Measure the clearance and height difference between the fuel-filler lid and the vehicle body.

    Standard clearance

  • a: 1.7—3.7 mm {0.07—0.14 in}

  • b: 1.7—3.7 mm {0.07—0.14 in}

  • c: –0.5—1.5 mm {–0.01—0.05 in}

  • d: 1.7—3.7 mm {0.07—0.14 in}

  • e: 1.7—3.7 mm {0.07—0.14 in}

  • If the measured value is not within the standard clearance, adjust the clearance using the following procedure.

    • Loosen the fuel-filler lid installation bolts, move the fuel-filler lid, and adjust the installation position. (See FUEL-FILLER LID REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

    • Tighten the fuel-filler lid installation bolts. (See FUEL-FILLER LID REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

    • Verify that the clearances and differences in height of the fuel-filler lid and the vehicle body are within the standard clearance.
