DTC U2005:86 [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE]

Description	Error signal received from PCM
Detection condition	The auto leveling control module received vehicle speed signal error from the PCM for 5 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.
Possible cause	DTCs are stored in the PCM. PCM malfunction Auto leveling control module malfunction
System wiring diagram	Not applicable

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY PCM DTCs Retrieve the PCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0)].) Is the DTC displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0)].)
		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS PCM DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY Clear the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 5 s or more. Retrieve the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)
		No	Go to Step 4.
3	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 5 s or more. Retrieve the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the auto leveling control module, then go to the next step. (See AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
