DTC U2300:54 [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE]

Description	Error configuration data received from instrument cluster
Detection condition	The auto leveling control module received error configuration data from the instrument cluster for 30 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe	Control of the headlight auto leveling system is continued.
Possible cause	NOTE: To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the auto leveling control module to the auto leveling control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on). DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster. Instrument cluster configuration not implemented Instrument cluster internal memory malfunction Instrument cluster configuration data error Auto leveling control module malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].) Is the DTC displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
		No	Go to the next step.
2	RESET INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION DATA Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration with the As-Built data. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).) Clear the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more. Retrieve the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data) again, then go to the next step. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).)
		No	Go to the next Step 4.
3	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more. Retrieve the auto leveling control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the auto leveling control module, then go to the next step. (See AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
